Prop 8 status in my life...

Well, all this talk of Prop 8, I guess I should say something on my behalf of what I believe. I am voting yes on prop 8 because if I didn't I would be a hipocrite. I am a Christian so therefore I need to vote in a way that expresses my own beliefs. But as for puting a sign in my yard or forwarding emails to non-christians or believers is only a mere disrespect for what they think is right. I should only assume that all Christians will vote yes on the matter unless they are gay themselves. I should also say that if a gay person is a christian they should know that according to what they claim to believe they are struggling with sin and therefore should vote yes to keep themselves from diving further into their sins. It would be just like a Christian who has the sin of porn addiction voting to legalize porn in school. (I know a little extreme, but it's an analogy) They know what they are doing is a sin, but they know they should be trying to fix the problem. NOW, this may sound like I am pushing beliefs... but I am just holding fellow Christians accountable. I don't expect all gays to think they have a problem... It is the only people Christians can be accountable for... we can only witness by example to non-believers and not push our beliefs down their throwts, for 1... that is disrespectful, and 2... that is judging others...

I can only be an example through my own life. I have said this before... I and other Christians, have no right to hold non believers accountable to our beliefs. The bible clearly states that the world is full of evil and we will have to face it day after day. So as a Christian I can only raise my children to learn to live as Christians do... I must also stress the fact, that if my child chooses not to be Christian I can not hold against them my own beliefs either. I would be devistated, but I can only hope that with KNOWLEDGE and research they will learn that the Christian religion is true and that it would take more faith knowing everything to not believe in Jesus Christ than it would to believe in him... (Knowing he is the true messiah, not just that he existed.) I will teach my children through example that we believe a family should consist of a Woman Mother, Male Father, and children... (If chosen) I can only witness to my children that this is the way families are supposed to be. I can also help by not puting them in harmful situations with strangers or doing harmful things to them... God only knows why people are "truly" gay... and no I don't believe they are gay by birth... maybe predispositioned... and then triggered, but who knows. I only know that we all have our own sin we struggle with... and we can either fight it or not...

The only unforgiven sin is not believing Jesus is the savior of the world... so we need to stop looking at Gays as if they are the devil themselves... ALL SINS ARE THE SAME IN GOD'S EYES! So just because they struggle with something doesn't mean they are out of your/our category... you are just as guilty as they are... Yes, I am voting YES on 8 because I believe that this is just a case for the devil to get a foothold on sinners... a way for him to turn people just a little bit further away from Jesus... but the bible clearly states that not everyone will be going to heaven when He returns, so people, whether prop 8 passes or not... people will still be gay, and we can only try to save people... but there will be many not able to be reached... if they were... the bible would be wrong...
